Beterbiev stopped Daines in the tenth round

WBC and IBF Light Heavyweight Champion Artur Beterbiev (16-0, 16 KOs) scored a tenth round early victory over Adam Dines (19-2-1, 10 KOs) in the main event tonight at the Megasport Arena in Moscow. Dines hit the floor at the end of the first round but was able to recover in the next three minutes. Beterbiev continued to patiently pursue the opponent, and finally was able to deliver an accurate left side to the goal in the tenth round. Dines was able to get up, but his corner threw away the towel. Stop time 1:34.

For Beterbiev, this was the first fight after the unification of the titles in October 2019 against Alexander Gvozdik. Beterbiev, 36, has fought in Russia for the first time since turning professional in June 2013. Russian-born Dines lost early for the first time in six years as a pro.
