Sports portal MMA Junkie has published on its website the referee notes of the fight between the former two-weight champion Conor McGregor and the former interim title holder Dustin Poirier, which took place in the main event of today’s UFC 264 tournament.

The fight was over after the first round, as McGregor stepped on his foot unsuccessfully during the exchange of punches and broke his ankle. Poirier was declared the winner by TKO, winning his third fight in a row.

It should be noted that according to the results of the first five minutes, all three judges counted Poirier’s advantage, and two of them put up a devastating score – 10-8.

Recall that before UFC 264, McGregor and Poirier split the octagon twice. Almost seven years ago, the Irishman finished Dustin in the featherweight division in the first round, while in January of this year, “Diamond” managed to take a convincing revenge, stopping Conor early in the lightweight division.
