Former UFC bantamweight champion American TJ Dillashaw believes that all claims of his former rival Cory Sandhagen to the judges after their fight are unfounded. According to TJ, Sandhagen won only the second round of their confrontation, and in all the rest, a slight advantage was on his side.

“When I heard that there was a split decision of the judges in our fight, I got a little nervous. I got most of the damage in the second round. Perhaps with a stretch, he can be given another round. The rest of the time I controlled the course of the fight. I had control over the distance, over the pace of our confrontation, as well as when working on the ground.

I won this fight. I did what I had to do, plus I won with a damaged leg. So I’m not going to get mad at my performance because I beat a guy like Corey Sandhagen with only one good leg, ”Dillashaw said.

Recall that TJ and Corey fought on July 24 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, in the main event of UFC on ESPN 27. Dillashaw won a split decision.
