The best goalkeepers of the 28th round of the RPL – Vladimir Gabulov’s version: Pesyakov, Lantratov, Belenov, Chondrich, Dupin – “Championship”

Football

Former goalkeeper of the Russian national team, Dynamo, CSKA, Club Brugge and other clubs, chairman of the board of directors of FC Olimp-Dolgoprudny Vladimir Gabulov chose the top five RPL goalkeepers following the results of the 28th round of the RPL.
The floor is given to Vladimir.

In the 28th round, we got to know the new RPL champion. Zenit beautifully defeated a direct competitor. We, as football fans, expected an uncompromising struggle from this match, but Lokomotiv was not ready, crushing and limply losing to the champions. We also expected more from the goalkeepers. But if Guilherme completely failed the match, then the opponent did not create unsolvable problems for Lunev, therefore in the 28th round he also does not claim to be in our top five.

5. Sergey Pesyakov, “Rostov”

Pesyakov played zero again. Despite the fact that “Rostov” played with an outsider, it was the Tambov team who created the first one hundred percent chances to score. At the 58th minute, Terekhov got the ball in the penalty area, when he moved to the center he removed the defender and opened the entire target in front of him. The attacker shot into the near corner, but Pesyakov rescued his team, acting in cold blood. He did not fall down or try to read the opponent, but reacted to the blow. It happened with a zero score, and a few minutes later Rostov scored and brought the match to victory.

4. Ilya Lantratov, Khimki

The match for Lantratov turned out to be very difficult: having opened the scoring, Khimki played in the minority for 75 minutes, and Ural shot a lot on target from medium and long distances. Not all shots on his goal turned out to be accurate, but they were tight, sometimes they flew under the crossbar – then the goalkeeper beat the ball with his far hand beautifully in a jump. One way or another, Lantratov had to cope with these shots.

In the 68th minute, Gadzhimuradov received the ball on the penalty line and delivered a dodging, but not very strong blow. Lantratov caught him tightly in a beautiful jump. The most dangerous moment arose in the third added minute, when Augustynyak struck powerfully from behind a penalty kick. The shot also came out not very accurate, not to the very corner, but the ball flew under the goalkeeper’s supporting leg, so it was important for Lantratov not to let go of it. There were many opponents in the penalty area – any awkward rebound could lead to finishing.

3. Alexander Belenov, Ufa

Belenov did not manage to play zero against CSKA, but one point of Ufa on the road is his merit. He saved his team in a few moments and won a draw. On the 12th minute, Oblyakov struck from behind the free kick into the far corner at a height convenient for the goalkeeper – Belenov was obliged to cope with such a blow. Six minutes later, Rondon entered the penalty area after a penetrating pass from Vlašić. Belenov first took a position relative to the Croat, then shifted towards the batter in order to close the near corner and have time to react to a blow to the far one. Rondon struck powerfully into the near nine – the goalkeeper coped.

On the 20th minute, the most difficult moment happened in the match with Belenov’s beautiful save. After serving from a corner, Diveev jumped with his head from eight meters in the opposite direction to the goalkeeper. Alexander got up on two feet in time, took up a position relative to the batter and in a jump managed to fish out the ball from the goal line. At the same time, he hit the ball so that there was no finishing move.

2. Josip Chondrich, “Rotor”

Chondrich played a spectacular match and took the long-awaited “crack”, bringing victory to “Rotor”. In the 37th minute, Ilyin shot very powerfully into the bottom corner from outside the penalty area. Chondrich went two meters from the goal line, slightly reducing the distance, folded with lightning speed and firmly put his hand to hit the ball. On the 43rd minute, after a rebound on a corner, Putsko went one-on-one with the goalkeeper on the edge of the goalkeeper’s edge, but Chondrich jumped out in time and blocked the ball’s path.

In the second half, the chances at the Rotor’s goal did not end: in the 51st minute, Ismael took a very dangerous free kick from a long distance. Chondrich did not guess, but played on the ball: when it flew out from behind the wall, the goalkeeper jumped and beat it in front of him, but did not turn off the episode and was able to block Almasi’s finishing move. At the same time, Josip could have played more clearly and immediately transfer the ball to the side, to the corner. In the third added minute, because of the free kick, Harin shot under the crossbar very powerfully. The goalkeeper pushed off, stretched himself to the string and in a jump took out the ball with one hand. From the fingertips, the ball flew into the crossbar, slightly changing its direction.

1. Yuri Dupin, Rubin

Dupin is in great shape and is one of the best goalkeepers in the RPL, which allows him to compete for a place in the Russian national team. The match against Dynamo only confirmed this. Yuri helped out in very difficult situations, exactly when it was needed. The goalkeeper did not flinch for a second due to the fact that his team played in the minority against the brightly attacking Dynamo – this confidence was transmitted to the field players of Rubin. I would like to note the high-quality performance of Dupin on the outskirts – it was often thanks to her that Dynamo did not manage to create one hundred percent chances for chances.

In the first ten minutes, Dynamo had four dangerous moments, the first – a powerful blow from Lesovoy under the crossbar from the edge of the penalty area in the fourth minute. It might seem that the ball just hit the crossbar – in fact, it was Dupin who reached out to him with his fingertips and changed the trajectory of the flight. Three minutes later, Grulev from 10 meters beat his head with a rebound from the lawn after a flank serve. The goalkeeper initially took up a position relative to the server, but managed to rebuild and take a place on the goal line. He had to shift his body to catch the ball flying from the lawn and bounce it to the side. In the 11th minute, the most dangerous moment arose after a corner kick to the near post – the ball was very close to the goal and could be cut off at any moment. Dupine showed miracles of reaction and brushed him off N’Zhi’s leg, not allowing him to pierce. After these saves, Rubin opened an account – that’s what it means to help out your team in a timely manner.

In the 65th minute, Lesovoy again moved to the center from the left flank and directed the ball into the far corner from the penalty line with a diving blow. Dupin was in a balanced position, did not go far and without a step, literally pushed off from the spot and reached for the ball, which was flying very close to the barbell. On the fifth added minute, Shimanski hit from a long distance after Komlichenko’s discount, but Dupin reacted and hit the ball aside. Even at that moment, the goalkeeper did not relax and helped Rubin win a dry win.
