A few minutes ago, Las Vegas hosted the UFC on ESPN 25 Main Event, in which MMA fans saw a featherweight fight between former Korean Zombie promotion title challenger and Division 8 Dan Ige.
“Zombie”, as always, began slowly, picking up the blow and watching the movements of the opponent. Ige was more constricted; throwing powerful combinations, he also tried to injure the front leg of the Korean, but the reciprocal low kicks “Zombies” felt much harder.
In the second round, “Zombies”, having calibrated their scope, began to catch Ige on counterattacks more often. Feeling the force of the blows, the American began to look for luck in the ground, but “Zombie” easily prevented translation attempts, while he himself was laying Ige on the ground, where he invariably dominated in each of the positions.
Towards the end of the fight, the picture began to change: the rather tired “Zombie” began to miss more and more in the standing position, while Ige demonstrated excellent cardio and unbending spirit. The American began to hit the body more often and deliver hooks, but the Korean managed to neutralize the opponent’s agility with better work on the ground, which ultimately played a key role in passing the referee’s verdict.
Result: Korean Zombie defeated Dan Ige via unanimous decision
