The champion of UFC in a light heavyweight (93 kg) Jon Jones said he wants the first fighter in MMA history, who will finish his career with a record of 50-0, reports Prosports.kz.

“I think that 50-0 would be a really great record. No one has ever done this. It will put me on a par with Mayweather and other great boxers. I’m 31, and I believe that the best is yet to come,” said Jones to TMZ.

We will add that at the moment, the Jones record is 23-1-1. In 2009, the fighter was disqualified in a bout with Matt Hamill for making an illegal elbow. John himself does not believe the outcome of that match in defeat.

Recall that on the morning of March 3 on the UFC 235 Jones will fight against Anthony Smith. Links to the live broadcast will be on the website Prosports.kz.
