Dmitry Mitrofanov held an open training session

WBO Oriental junior middleweight champion Dmitry Mitrofanov (10-0-1, 5 KOs) on the eve of the fight on July 17 in Equides Club against Rillivan Babatunde (13-0, 8 KOs) showed his physical form as part of an open training session. Dmitry did a warm-up, worked on his paws, performed shadow boxing, exercises with a punching bag, with a rope and balls, worked on a coordination ladder, and so on.

“We are studying the opponent while we are reviewing the video of his fights with the coach. Babatunde is tall, very fast, maneuverable, works well on his legs, works great with his body, and is protected by his shoulders. They also noted that he breaks out of non-standard positions. But the ring will show everything. We are preparing seriously and are not going to underestimate the opponent, ”Dmitry said at an open training session.

“A very interesting opponent. I’ve already watched six fights. It won’t be easy. He has good protection, he moves well. It will be difficult to find time to strike. He is not a static boxer – fast, flexible, has a good kick. We are looking forward to a good fight, – said Dmitry’s coach Vadim Kazanin. “But we have the same goal – the title of world champion, the title of the absolute world champion”.
