Haney’s attention has focused on Javier Fortuna in recent weeks, however it looks like the Dominican fighter may cross gloves with Ryan Garcia this spring. For Linares, this will be a return to the ring after more than a year hiatus. The last time the Venezuelan boxer played was in February last year.

Haney, 22, returned to the ring in December after shoulder surgery. The World Boxing Council belt holder won a unanimous decision over Yuriorkis Gamboa and defended his title for the second time.
