Daniel Cormier commented on McGregor’s defeat, recalling how Conor promised that Poirier would be carried away on a stretcher
Former UFC two-weight champion Daniel Cormier reacted to star Irishman Conor McGregor’s early defeat in the Dustin Poirier trilogy.
After “Notorius” broke his leg at the end of the first round and could not continue the fight, “DC” recalled that before the fight McGregor promised that his opponent would be carried out of the octagon on a stretcher, but in the end he himself suffered the same fate.
“It’s crazy to think that after the weigh-in Conor said that Porier would be carried away on a stretcher. Now McGregor himself is being carried away on a stretcher. This game we play is so crazy! Hats off to Dustin Poirier’s Diamond from Lafayette.” wrote by Daniel Cormier on his Twitter page.
Crazy to think that at the end of the weigh in Conor said he would be taken out on a stretcher. And now Conor gets taken out on a stretcher. Man this game we play is so crazy !!!! Hats off to the Diamond of Lafayette !! @DustinPoirier
