Bogachuk, Adams and Vargas Jr. held an open training session

Undefeated rising star Sergei “El Flaco” Bogachuk (18-0.18 KOs), former world title challenger Brandon “Cannon” Adams (22-3, 13 KOs) and talented newcomer and son of legend, Fernando “El Feroz” Vargas Junior (1-0, 1 KOs) held an open training session in Southern California at the famous Churchill Boxing Club in Santa Monica, California.

The training was dedicated to a boxing night at Ring City USA on Thursday March 4 at the Felix Pagan Pintor in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, and will be shown live on NBC Sports Network.

Bogachuk and Adams face off in a highly anticipated 10-round bout that will be the main event of the evening, while Vargas Jr will face off against an opponent to be announced in a 4-round undercard junior middleweight bout. The fight between Bogachuk and Adams was originally scheduled for December 3, but was postponed due to the Ukrainian’s positive COVID-19 test.

Also in attendance were Manny Robles, Bogachuk’s trainer, Dub Huntley, Adams’s trainer and former world middleweight champion Fernando Vargas Sr., Vargas Jr.’s father and trainer. They were joined by Tom Leffler, president of 360 Promotions and Bogachuk’s promoter.
