Golovkin maintained first place in the WBC standings


The World Boxing Council (WBC) has released an updated version of the ranking of the world's top boxers in all weight classes, reports Prosports.kz.

The former World Champion of Kazakhstan, Gennady Golovkin, maintained first place on average. Other Kazakhstan's in the same category improved their positions. So Meirim Nursultanov climbed from 29th to 26th place and Zhanibek Alimkhanuly – from 30th to 29th place.

In the second middleweight Ali Akhmedov finished 18th, before that he was on the 16th line in the list of light heavyweight. Aydos Yerbosynuly rose from 40th to 33rd place.

The first Kazakh weightlifting Sadriddin Akhmedov moved from 38th to 31st and Batyr Dzhukembayev, a middleweight champion, dropped from 37th to 18th.
